Description
Alex is the software package for planning, installing, operating and maintaining multi-vendor, open and interoperable LONWORKS® networks.
ALEX combines the powerful client server architecture of LNS with an easy-to-operate user interface. It is possible, therefore, to set up a device in a matter of seconds. Devices can be collated in folders, thus allowing the network to be structured in a logical and hierarchical manner. These folders can be copied or shifted with their relevant devices, connections and parameters, with the result that even large networks are easy to manage.
ALEX provides comprehensive support for LONMARK®compatible devices, i.LON Internet servers and other LONWORKS® devices. All LONMARK® functions such as functional profiles (object profiles), configuration properties (parameters), resource files, dynamic or alterable network variables are supported at the same time.
